EvexiPEL hormone pellet therapy

Steady hormone delivery with certified, personalized care.

The EvexiPEL Method uses small estradiol or testosterone pellets placed beneath the skin to release hormone over several months. BayouSide begins with symptoms, labs, lifestyle, medical history, and goals, then compares pellets with other options before any procedure is scheduled.

Care may include

  • EvexiPEL-trained hormone evaluation and placement
  • Comprehensive symptom, lab, lifestyle, and health-history review
  • Individualized estradiol or testosterone dosing when appropriate
  • Steady release over several months with continued monitoring

What to expect

A clear, clinically guided path

1

Evaluate the whole picture

Review symptoms, labs, lifestyle, medical history, prior hormone treatment, medications, reproductive goals, screening needs, and factors that could make pellet therapy unsuitable.

2

Compare options

Discuss pellets alongside other appropriate hormone delivery methods, including how long each option lasts, how it is adjusted, and what follow-up it requires.

3

Place and monitor

If pellet therapy is selected, the provider places small pellets beneath the skin during a brief in-office procedure and explains aftercare, expected follow-up, and symptoms that should prompt a call.

Personalized care

The EvexiPEL Method at BayouSide

EvexiPEL emphasizes trained providers, individualized dosing, a specialized insertion approach, and ongoing monitoring. Convenience is only one factor, and treatment still depends on your clinical evaluation and informed preferences.

Important: Compounded hormone pellets are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not evaluate compounded products for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Pellet therapy is not appropriate for everyone and requires an individual evaluation, informed consent, and provider-directed follow-up. EvexiPEL® is a registered trademark of its owner.

Testosterone pellets

Testosterone pellets may be considered for eligible men after symptom review, appropriate morning laboratory confirmation, safety screening, and discussion of fertility goals.

Estradiol or testosterone pellets

For eligible women, estradiol or testosterone pellets may be discussed as part of individualized hormone care. Other hormones or non-pellet treatments may also be considered based on the clinical plan.

Procedure planning

Rice-sized pellets are placed beneath the skin through a small incision. The team reviews the procedure, aftercare, activity guidance, possible adverse effects, and limitations before consent.

Ongoing monitoring

Follow-up considers symptoms, side effects, relevant lab markers, and whether pellet therapy remains the safest and most useful option for you.
