  • Testing, treatment planning, and follow-up when appropriate

What to expect

A clear, clinically guided path

1

Check availability

Walk-ins are welcome, but daily capacity can change. Calling before you leave can help confirm that BayouSide is the appropriate setting and reduce unnecessary waiting.

2

Get evaluated

The provider reviews your symptoms, timing, relevant history, medications, allergies, and vital signs, then determines whether office testing or treatment is appropriate.

3

Know the next step

You will receive a clear plan for treatment, warning signs, follow-up, testing, or referral to a higher level of care when needed.

Personalized care

Walk-in care for non-emergency needs

Urgent walk-in visits can address many common concerns, but they do not replace emergency services.

For chest pain, severe trouble breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, or another medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Cold, flu, and respiratory symptoms

Evaluation of cough, sore throat, congestion, fever, ear pain, and other common respiratory concerns, with testing when clinically appropriate.

Minor injuries and skin concerns

Assessment of minor sprains, strains, cuts, insect bites, rashes, and other concerns that do not require emergency treatment.

Common infections

Evaluation of urinary symptoms, sinus or ear concerns, sore throat, and other possible infections, followed by appropriate testing and treatment planning.

New or worsening symptoms

Assessment of non-emergency symptoms that need timely attention, with referral when diagnostic imaging, hospital care, or another specialist is needed.
